Project Background:

In Nepal, many guardians are away from home due to work commitments, often residing in different towns or countries. This physical separation can hinder their involvement in their children's education, leading to a lack of awareness and engagement in academic activities. The Digital Parents project seeks to address this issue by using digital technologies to facilitate communication and involvement in the education process.

Implementation Plan:

o Phase 1: Planning and Development

o Conduct a needs assessment to understand the specific requirements of parents, teachers, and school administrators.

o Develop the Digital Parents mobile app with features such as academic tracking, communication tools, and event calendars.

o Phase 2: Pilot Testing

o Implement the app in a select number of schools to gather feedback from users and make necessary adjustments.

o Provide training sessions for parents and teachers on using the app effectively.

o Phase 3: Full Deployment

o Roll out the Digital Parents app across targeted schools in Nepal.

o Ensure technical support and continuous monitoring to address any issues promptly.

o Phase 4: Evaluation and Expansion
