“Light for Learning, Hope for Tomorrow”
Batti is a crisis-responsive education NGO that brings hope through learning in areas affected by conflict, displacement, disaster, or deep poverty. We believe that education should not stop—no matter the circumstances.

बत्ती संकटमा परेका बालबालिकाका लागि शिक्षाको उज्यालो बोकेको संस्था हो। संकट आउँछ, तर पढाई रोकिनु हुँदैन भन्ने हाम्रो दृष्टिकोण हो।

Responding Where Others Cannot
Founded in 2020 after the COVID-19 crisis exposed educational inequality, Batti was created to ensure that children facing extraordinary hardships still receive a chance to learn.

Our work spans urban slums, refugee settlements, flood zones, and post-earthquake regions where children are at risk of dropping out. We believe in adaptive learning models that can be deployed quickly and sustainably.

  1. Mobile Learning Vans
    Our mobile classrooms bring education to street children, brick kiln workers, and children in camps. Equipped with books, tablets, and solar panels, these vans ensure flexible and creative learning.

  2. Disaster Response Education
    Batti provides learning continuity through emergency kits, trauma support, and radio lessons in areas hit by disasters.

  3. Accelerated Learning for Dropouts
    We run crash courses for children who’ve missed years of school, helping them re-enter mainstream education.

  4. Night Schools for Working Children
    We operate evening classes in cities like Kathmandu and Birgunj to reach child workers.

  5. Tech Literacy in Crisis Zones
    Through solar-powered tablets and offline apps, we provide digital access to children in power-deficient areas.

हाम्रा कार्यक्रमहरू लचिलो, नवप्रवर्तनपूर्ण र तात्कालिक आवश्यकता अनुसार डिजाइन गरिएका छन्।
